Unless you want to play any Mario, Zelda, or other GC-exclusive titles. Therefore, my allegiance belongs to the House of Miyamoto. Well, among other reasons. Not that you'd be able to tear my PC from my cold, dead hands.
Yeah, this strayed from the original topic. Oh well.
Go back through and look at some of the on-topic posts. Good advice in there.

PC gaming is a rich mans hobby, I don't feel like spending 2-3 grand every year just to have decent performance, versus a console, which is headache free for the most part and costs maybe 1 grand if you spend alot of it on games. End of story. Now either reply to my original question, or don't reply..

Don't forget the fact that most all decent console games are also for the PC, or available on your PC via an emulator.
PCs for the WIN!!!

Consoles have one undeniable advantage... the software ALWAYS works (baring physical defects of course). I buy a game for my Xbox, I pop it in the drive, and it plays... period. I don't have to worry about having the right drivers, or graphics card, or RAM, or processing power. I don't have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on upgrades. The games simply work, each and every time.

Yeah but with consoles, most particularly the XBox, there's only one game you can pop into the console (and enjoy yourself).
Halo
Which is also for the PC I might add, with more levels and weapons in their multiplayer. I mean I can understand if you're talking playstation, being that they've an immensely huge game library (of decent games, and games in general) compared to the other two. But XBox? C'mon, honestly! Name me one good XBox game that's XBox exclusive and tell me there's not an equivilent, or better game for another system. XBox has Halo 2 that's exclusive to it...big deal, that game sucked compared to the original. Other than that what, Soul Calibur II? Playstation 2. Doom 3? PC. XBox 360 having Quake IV? PC. XBox having Half-Life 2? PC. Halo? PC. Call of Duty 2, which is coming out on a bunch of systems or...something, whatever...? PC.
Get the idea?
PC > All consoles. Besides, PC's are cheaper for online play than consoles, and you can do SO much more on a PC! Like...anything you want!

You are correct on every point there Mr. Pie. However my point still stands... you don't have to buy new graphics cards for your PS2. You don't need RAM upgrades for your Xbox. You don't need a new processor for your Gamecube. Hardware capability and compatibility are total non-issues for consoles, and for many people without the time and money... that makes all the difference between a gaming quality PC and a console.

Yeah, you're right. That's true enough.
But don't you feel smart whenever you fix/upgrade your computer?
